Our
Clients love coming to Milwaukee, and here’s why…

1
HM Graphics has been serving a national client base since 1969.
More than half of HM’s business comes from out-of-state clients.
They all
understand that if you want the finest print and attentive service that meets
deadlines and budgets, Milwaukee and HM Graphics are only a pleasant print
buying experience away and a day trip from most cities in the continental US.
Milwaukee is the hub for Midwest Airlines, so
a variety of comfortable, non-stop trips from many major US cities are offered
daily. Situated just west of the
hustle and bustle of downtown Milwaukee,
auto travel is simple and expedient.
Upon arrival at HM for a press OK or tour you will be provided with a
comfortable lounge, complete with beverages, snacks, television, internet access
and the industry’s most accommodating staff.
But as proud as we are of our printing and how we treat our clients, take
a look at what our great city offers its guests.....
2
Milwaukee
boasts a diverse array of world-class, big city amenities with small town
warmth.
An old
world European charm runs through the heart of Milwaukee which complimentarily
contrasts the contemporary dining establishments, overnight stay accommodations,
cultural and sporting events and recreational activities that are offered.
We have several clients who bring their families to press checks and then
stay a few extra days to enjoy
Milwaukee
and the surrounding area after the business is taken care of.
If you want to get in and out fast, we can make that happen, too!
Hotels
Whether you want an economy room to simply hang your hat, or the luxury of
pampered service, Milwaukee has the hotel that will perfectly
suit your needs. Some unique
accommodations like the Pfister, which features opulent turn-of-the-century
majesty or the Hotel Metro, which delivers a contemporary European feel, add to
a variety of choices, along with Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, Wyndham, Embassy
Suites, Raddison, Holiday Inn, Sheraton and many other hotel standards.
Dining
From casual to fine dining, Milwaukee has establishments that represent
every ethnicity or cuisine style. Many are located along the Lake
Michigan shore
or Milwaukee
River for scenic
waterfront dining experiences.
Others are nestled comfortably among cultural or entertainment venues for a
pre-performance dinner or a post-performance drink & dessert.
A short 50 minute drive from Milwaukee will find you at
the Immigrant Room in The American Club in Kohler - one of the nation’s few true
Five-Star dining establishments. Milwaukee is also home to
some of the finest microbreweries in the nation with outstanding Pub Fare.
And don’t forget the staple of Wisconsin dining - the
Friday Night Fish Fry.
Cultural
The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, led by Andreas Delfs, brings music aficionados
a spectacular array of classic performances.
Live Theater, Concerts, Opera & Ballet are available most every night.
The Milwaukee
Art Museum, designed in part by
Santiago Calatrava, adorns the lakefront with amazing flair, while the historic
Milwaukee Public Museum
holds its position as a city icon.
Sports
Milwaukee
and Wisconsin are passionate about their sports -
all sports. On the professional
level,
Milwaukee is
host to MLB and NBA teams, the
Brewers and the Bucks, as well as having
professional soccer and hockey teams, The Wave and The Admirals.
A short and scenic 90 minute drive due north along the shores of Lake
Michigan brings you to the historic crowned jewel of the NFL - the frozen tundra
of Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers and the Packer Hall of Fame.
Milwaukee and
Madison
are also the homes of the NCAA Division I UW Milwaukee Panthers, Marquette
Golden Eagles and UW Madison Badgers.
Recreation
Wisconsin
has spectacular lakes - clean, great for fishing, skiing, boating or swimming.
State and community parks are widely available.
Biking, in-line skating, running, kite flying, and rock climbing round
out some of the many activities available around the greater
Milwaukee
area. Bring your own equipment or
rent. Wisconsin
also has many highly acclaimed golf courses, including Whistling Straits which
is 45 minutes north of Milwaukee in Kohler, WI.
This links style course, open to the public, is nestled along the shores
of Lake Michigan
and was host to a 2004 PGA Championship tournament.
Entertainment
Every June, Summerfest, the world’s largest free music festival, runs for 11
days over the 4th of July - you have to see it to believe it.
Music, food, entertainment and much more!
Throughout the summer there are also a variety of ethnic festivals taking
place virtually every weekend on the Summerfest grounds.
The Wisconsin State Fair is held about 4 blocks from HM Graphics at the State
Fair
Park, running from the end
of July to the beginning of August.
Also on the State Fair grounds is the Petit Ice Center, Olympic speed skating training
facility and the legendary Milwaukee Mile race track.
Milwaukee also boasts a nationally
acclaimed zoo and is only a short 90 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells, the
Mecca
of waterparks and outdoor family adventure. Outdoor Festivals in the summer can
be found in every community most every weekend in Milwaukee.
A tour of the Miller brewery is a popular destination, and always has a
refreshing ending! Milwaukee is the proud home of Harley Davidson
motorcycles, with tours available.
The Potawatomi Casino has gambling tables, slot machines, bingo, shows and
lounges. Shopping Malls are
abundant, situated a short walk from most every downtown hotel and a 5 minute
drive from outlying hotels and HM Graphics.
3 Discount Outlet Centers are less than a 45 minute drive from HM.

Milwaukee
is relaxed, economical and friendly.
Travel is
about as easy as it gets in
America!
Milwaukee offers its visitors an
economical

and relaxed “Gateway to the Northwoods” business experience with
stress-free commuting virtually anywhere in the city and very reasonable travel
expenses compared to most any other US city.
HM Graphics is an easy 10.2 miles or 17 minutes from
Mitchell
International
Airport, and 6.7 miles or 13 minutes from the heart
of downtown. Rent a car or we will
be happy to pick you up - either way, getting around is a breeze.
The city is easy to navigate and one of the safer metropolitan areas in
the nation. People mention it all
the time after their visit, “I can’t believe how friendly people are in Milwaukee and
Wisconsin”!
Still not convinced that you want to print in Milwaukee,
or that you even want to come to Milwaukee?
Getting HM’s world-class quality and service doesn’t even require you to
be in Milwaukee
if you don’t want to be. Many of our
most discerning clients (some already live in Wisconsin or even Milwaukee) trust
HM Print Consultants and their veteran
corps of Pressmen to handle press OK’s
for them.
